It wasn't the best weekend for the city. Nova came up very short in their attempt to win a National Championship losing to UNC Saturday night. They made only five three pointers while shooting 27 of them, not a great way to try to win a game.
The Phillies also came up flat like they do in almost every home opener. Brett "Long Ball" Meyers gave up three home runs in the first two innings, helping the Braves get a 4 run lead and win the game 4-1.
Phils get back in action tomorrow at 7:05. Tomorrow we will also preview the Phils game Wednesday at 3, which is when they will get their World Series rings.
